WHO WE ARE.

We are inviting Christians to reconsider the frameworks of punitive justice and reconstruct biblical tenets of restorative justice.

We believe when we shift harmful narratives, it allows us to cultivate communities where all people can flourish.

We hope that love of neighbor leads to advocacy for those that society overlooks.

Neighbor’s Table is a training designed to create a transformative experience through a liminal learning space.

We want to engage the societal issue of mass incarceration and those whom it effects, biblically & theologically; while also learning the social, psychological and historical implications of this brokenness. We believe that an action oriented engagement will start with emulating the one whom we follow, Jesus, and trusting Him for a day when the criminal justice system looks & feels more like God's Kingdom on earth.

We are not wanting to merely educate people about these realities to create smarter Christians, but rather we feel called to mobilize the people of God. Concerning the realities of criminal justice and mass incarceration, it can be hard to know where to start. We have developed a framework of where to start, and where to go next. Our desire is to invite the people of God into movements of change, and to practically see how this change takes place within our society.

The “ecclesia” is a sent people, a called out people, to go into the world with the restorative mandate of our God. We long to see the church be known as a people who love their neighbor, as those who would visit and serve their King in prison (Matt. 25:40), showing grace to the guilty and broken, being proponents of Christ’s restorative work so that name of the LORD would be declared in all the world.
